Acne gone. Marks stayed?

Red capsules of tranexamic acid pop into a 5% niacinamide gel. Built for the marks a breakout leaves behind, not the breakout itself.

  • Acne marks
  • Dark spots
  • Uneven tone
  • Tranexamic acid
  • 5% Niacinamide
  • Alpha-arbutin
  • 0.00% irritation

Why the mark outlives the pimple

On Indian skin, a breakout is rarely the end of the story. Inflammation, sun and picking all tell your pigment cells to work harder, so the mark can sit there for months after the spot has gone. A regular moisturiser never touches that part of the process.

  • Where it starts

    Trigger

A breakout, the afternoon sun, friction from a mask or a phone screen.

  • Red capsules

    Signal

Skin sends a make-more-pigment message to the pigment cells. Tranexamic acid is there to help quiet that signal.

  • The gel

    Surface

Pigment gets handed up to the top layer and shows as a mark. 5% niacinamide helps interrupt that hand-off.

And the part most creams skip: dry, irritated skin keeps restarting the cycle. Eight forms of hyaluronic acid and ceramide NP keep the barrier calm while the actives do their work.

Mix it your way

Your skin, your ratio

Scoop the gel first, then the capsules, and press them together on the back of your hand until they melt in. More gel feels lighter. More capsule feels richer. Start here and adjust.

  • Oily or humid weather

    Gel 1 : Capsule ½

Stays weightless when it is hot and sticky.

  • Dry, or in AC and winter

    Gel 1 : Capsule 1

A richer cushion when the air pulls water out.

  • Combination

    Gel on the T-zone

Plain gel where you are oily, the mix on your cheeks.

Based on Medicube's own ratio guide. Whatever you mix, apply it morning and night to face and neck, after your serum.

Nothing hidden in the jar

Tone care in the capsules, barrier care in the gel.

Botanicals you will recognize

Neem flower and leaf · Okra (bhindi) fruit · Kundru (ivy gourd) fruit

Light natural scent from lemongrass and star anise oils. No added parfum is listed. The red color comes from vitamin B12 in the formula, with no CI dyes on the list.

Ingredient roles describe what each ingredient is generally used for in skincare. This is a cosmetic product, not a medicine, and it does not treat any medical condition.

Brand-reported testing

The numbers, with the caveats

  • +46%

skin radiance after a single use

  • +41%

skin hydration after a single use

  • 0.00%

irritation in a human application test

The number we will not hide: skin tone evened out by 5.4% after one use. Hydration shows up overnight, but marks fade on your skin's own renewal cycle, roughly every 4 to 6 weeks. Give it 8 weeks before you judge it.

Clinical test by the Global Institute of Dermatological Sciences and a human application test by Cutis Biomedical Research Center, both reported by Medicube. Results vary from person to person.

Your 60-second routine

  1. Prep

Cleanse and tone. If you use a serum, it goes on first.

  2. Scoop

Gel first, then capsules, using the spatula. Follow your ratio from above.

  3. Pop and mix

Press the capsules into the gel on the back of your hand until they melt in.

  4. Pat on

Face and neck, morning and night. Give it a minute to sink in.

Mornings end with SPF 50. Every unprotected hour in the sun tells your skin to make more pigment. No cream can outrun that, so SPF 50 every morning is part of the routine, not an extra.

Plays well with

  • Vitamin C serum In the morning, under this cream.
  • Retinol At night, on alternate nights.
  • AHA or BHA Two or three nights a week. Not the same night for the first two weeks if you are sensitive.

Fakes are everywhere

Check your jar in 30 seconds

Viral Korean skincare is one of the most copied categories online. These four checks work on any jar, including the one we send you.

  • 1Indian importer sticker

A legally imported jar carries the importer's name and address, the MRP, net quantity and a customer-care contact. No sticker, no deal.

  • 2Batch code that matches

The batch or lot code and expiry printed on the jar should match the ones on the carton.

  • 3Seal and capsules

Inner seal unbroken. The capsules should be soft and melt fully into the gel as you mix them.

  • 4A price that makes sense

Imported skincare cannot sell far below its landed cost. If the discount looks unreal, the product often is too.

Questions, answered straight

How soon will my marks fade?
Hydration and glow show after the first use. Marks follow your skin's renewal cycle, so give it 4 to 8 weeks of twice-daily use with sunscreen every morning. Older or deeper marks take longer.
Does it treat active acne?
No, and we would rather say so. This is for what a breakout leaves behind. Keep using whatever controls your active acne, and apply this on top once that has absorbed.
Will it feel heavy in humidity?
Not if you mix it gel-heavy. Oily skin in humid weather does well at roughly gel 1 to capsule half. Use more capsule in AC or winter.
Is 99% pure TXA the same as 99% concentration?
No, and it is worth being clear. That figure describes the purity of the raw material medicube uses, not how much of the jar is tranexamic acid. Tranexamic acid sits partway down the ingredient list.
I have sensitive skin. Can I use it?
medicube reports 0.00% irritation in a human application test and says it suits sensitive and acne-prone skin. Patch test behind your ear for 24 hours first and start every other night.
Does it have a fragrance?
It has a light natural scent from lemongrass and star anise oils in the formula. No added parfum is listed. If essential oils bother your skin, patch test first.
Can I use it with vitamin C or retinol?
Yes. Vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night both pair well. Apply this after your serums. If your skin is sensitive, keep exfoliating acids off the same night for the first two weeks.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
Please check with your doctor first. The formula contains tranexamic acid and other actives, and a personal go-ahead is always best during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Patch test before first use. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight and heat. This is a cosmetic product and does not diagnose, treat or cure any skin condition. Test results quoted on this page are reported by Medicube from their own studies, and individual results vary.
