Why capsules instead of a normal vitamin C cream?

Because pure vitamin C oxidises on contact with air and light. Sealed in capsules it stays potent in the jar and is released fresh when you press it. That is the entire reason this format exists.

Will it sting?

It should not. The formula is pH 5.8 to 7.8, far gentler than the low-pH vitamin C serums that make people flinch, and it tested at 0.00% on a skin irritation index. Start every other night if your skin is reactive.

Is the golden colour artificial?

No. medicube declares no artificial colour, and the gold comes from annatto seed oil and beta-carotene in the formula.

Can I use it in the morning?

Yes, and morning is ideal, because its antioxidants work alongside sunscreen. Follow with SPF 50.

Does it smell of anything?

Yes, it contains fragrance. It is light, but if your skin reacts to fragrance, choose the Hyaluronic Acid or TXA capsule cream instead.

How is it different from the TXA cream?

This one is for overall dullness and tired-looking skin, with vitamin C leading. TXA is aimed squarely at acne marks and dark spots. Many people use Vita C in the morning and TXA at night.

Will it clear my old pigmentation?
